Kentia Palm (Howea forsteriana)
The Kentia palm, Howea forsteriana, has arching, feathery fronds on slender stems. It has been a favourite indoor palm since Victorian times because it tolerates shadier rooms.
You receive one plant about 80–85 cm tall in a Ø19 cm nursery pot, set in a matte white decorative pot, so it is ready to display or give as soon as it arrives.
Caring for your Kentia Palm
- Light: medium to bright, indirect light; it tolerates lower light but grows more slowly.
- Watering: water when the top few centimetres of compost are dry, and tip out any water left in the decorative pot.
