Cupressus 'Goldcrest Wilma' is a narrow, upright conifer with soft, feathery golden-green foliage that smells of lemon when brushed. It is widely used as a living tree-shaped plant for the Christmas season, and it looks good with plain white lights and little else.
- Golden-green, soft-textured foliage with a citrus scent when brushed
- Narrow, tree-like shape
- About 85-95cm tall in a 21cm pot
- Bright position; needs plenty of light
- Suits a cool room, a porch or a sheltered terrace
Indoors, give it the brightest, coolest spot available, away from radiators and fires, and water when the top 2-3cm of compost feels dry; browning foliage usually means the root ball has dried out or sat in water. Keep the indoor display to a few weeks, then move it to a bright, sheltered place outside. It tolerates light frost but is not fully hardy, so protect it from hard frost and cold wind, for example in an unheated porch.
Supplied as living plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
