Photinia x fraseri 'Little Red Robin' is a compact evergreen shrub with glossy leaves that open bright red and mature to deep green. Its dense, bushy habit stays smaller than the standard 'Red Robin', so it suits low hedges and smaller gardens.
- Foliage: red young growth maturing to deep glossy green, evergreen
- Small white flower clusters in spring on unclipped plants
- Supplied as 40 plants in 9cm pots, 25-35cm tall
- Full sun or partial shade
- Suits low hedging, borders and containers
Plant in well-drained soil in a position sheltered from cold drying winds, and water regularly in the first summer. Space about 40cm apart for a hedge. Trimming in late spring and again in summer encourages fresh red shoots and keeps the plants dense.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
