Thymus praecox 'Albiflorus' is a low, mat-forming creeping thyme with tiny aromatic leaves that are covered in white flowers. It is a charming plant for path edges, rock gardens and between stepping stones.
- Masses of small white flowers from late spring into summer
- Tiny, aromatic evergreen leaves
- Pack of 24 young plants in 11cm pots, 15-25cm tall as supplied
- Creeping, ground-hugging habit
- Prefers full sun and free-draining soil
- Flowers are visited by bees and other insects
Plant in full sun in light, free-draining soil, adding grit to heavy ground. Space plants about 20-25cm apart to knit together into a carpet. Water young plants until they establish, and shear lightly after flowering to keep the mat dense. Avoid planting where water lies in winter.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
