Molinia caerulea 'Heidebraut' is a purple moor grass with a narrow, upright habit and slim flower spikes held well above a tidy tuft of green leaves. It brings structure and a soft golden glow to borders in autumn.
- Upright, narrow clumps of fine green leaves
- Slim, airy flower spikes from summer in green and brown tones
- Golden-yellow autumn foliage
- Pack of 24 young plants in 11cm pots, 15-25cm tall as supplied
- Prefers sun or light shade
- Works well in drifts and mixed borders
Plant in moist, free-draining soil in sun or light shade; it is adaptable in most garden soil. Water young plants regularly while they settle in. Leave the dried foliage and flower stems in place for winter, then cut back in early spring.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
