Miscanthus sinensis 'Morning Light' is a refined ornamental grass with narrow, upright-arching leaves that give a silvery glow in the border. It brings light and movement to sunny planting schemes.
- Very fine leaves with a pale, silvery appearance
- Silvery-pink plumes from late summer
- Warm golden foliage tones in autumn
- Pack of 24 young plants in 11cm pots, 15-25cm tall as supplied
- Forms an upright, graceful clump over time
- Prefers a sunny position
Plant in full sun in fertile soil that drains freely. Keep young plants watered while they establish. Leave the old foliage and plumes standing through winter for interest, then cut the clump back close to the ground in early spring. It combines well with later-flowering perennials such as rudbeckia and sedum.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
