Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote' is a classic English lavender, loved for its deep purple flower spikes and silvery, aromatic foliage. It is a reliable choice for low scented hedging, sunny borders and containers. This pack contains 24 plants.
- Flowers: deep purple, strongly fragrant, borne in summer
- Foliage: silvery grey-green, aromatic and evergreen
- Habit: compact and bushy, good for edging and low hedges
- Supplied as: 24 plants in 11cm pots, around 15-25cm tall
- Position: full sun in free-draining soil
- Wildlife: the flowers attract bees and butterflies
Plant in full sun in well-drained soil, spacing plants closer for a low hedge or wider for individual mounds. Water until established, then trim lightly after flowering each year to keep them dense. Avoid cutting back into old bare wood, as it rarely regrows.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
