Ilex crenata 'Convexa' is a Japanese holly with small, glossy, dark green leaves that curve gently inward. It is a dense evergreen that takes clipping well, so it suits formal hedges, edging and topiary.
- Small, glossy dark green evergreen leaves
- Dense, compact habit that clips neatly
- A softer, non-spiny alternative to box-style hedging
- Pack of 24 plants in 9cm pots, 20-30cm tall as supplied
- Hardy in Irish gardens, grown in sun or partial shade
Plant in well-drained, moisture-retentive soil and water through the first summer. Space plants close together for a continuous line. Clip lightly in late spring or summer to build a dense, even hedge over time.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
