Prunus laurocerasus 'Rotundifolia' is an evergreen cherry laurel with rounded, glossy, mid to dark green leaves and a dense, bushy habit. It is a popular choice for thick boundary hedges and privacy screens.
- Foliage: rounded, glossy green leaves, evergreen
- Dense branching that fills out into a solid hedge
- Supplied as 40 plants in 9cm pots, 25-35cm tall
- Full sun, partial shade or shade
- Suits hedging, screening and shelter planting
Plant in moist, well-drained soil and water regularly in the first summer. Space about 50cm apart for a hedge. Trim in late spring or early summer so the plants have time to put on fresh growth before winter, using secateurs for a cleaner finish. Leaves and seeds are poisonous if eaten.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
