Prunus laurocerasus 'Novita' is an evergreen cherry laurel with glossy dark green foliage and a dense, upright habit. It is well suited to tall, private hedges and screens, and clips into a neat, solid shape.
- Foliage: glossy dark green leaves, evergreen
- Dense growth that closes up into a solid hedge
- Supplied as 40 plants in 9cm pots, 25-35cm tall
- Full sun, partial shade or shade
- Suits hedging, screening and windbreak planting
Plant in well-drained, moisture-retentive soil and water regularly through the first summer. Space about 50cm apart for a hedge. A yearly trim in late spring or summer is usually enough, and secateurs give a cleaner finish than shears. Leaves and seeds are poisonous if eaten.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
