Vinca major 'Variegata' is a vigorous, evergreen ground cover with glossy green leaves edged in cream and blue-violet flowers in spring. It brightens shady corners, banks and the edges of woodland planting.
- Blue-violet flowers from spring
- Glossy evergreen leaves with cream margins
- Pack of 24 young plants in 11cm pots, 15-25cm tall as supplied
- Trailing, spreading habit that forms a dense mat
- Grows in partial shade to shade
- Useful on banks and under shrubs and trees
Plant in partial shade to shade in soil that stays reasonably moist, spacing plants about 40-50cm apart. It is a vigorous spreader, so give it room and cut back any stems that wander beyond their space. Trim in early spring to keep it tidy and encourage fresh growth.
Supplied as young plants in growing pots, shipped directly from our partner growers. Plants are living products, so size and shape can vary slightly from the photo.
