Clematis 'Rainbow' is a twining climber offering a mix of flower colours, from purple and red to pink and white. Trained up a trellis, fence, wall or pergola, it covers vertical space with colour through summer.

Plant in rich, well-drained soil with the root ball slightly below the surface, and give the stems a trellis, wires or netting to twine through. Shade the base with a low plant, mulch or a flat stone to keep the roots cool. Water regularly in the first summer while the plants establish, and tie in young shoots as they grow.
