48x Rudbeckia Goldsturm Golden-Yellow Black-Eyed Susan 10-25cm

Rudbeckia fulgida 'Goldsturm' - Black-Eyed Susan (48-Pack)

The Rudbeckia fulgida 'Goldsturm', commonly known as Black-eyed Susan, is a stunning perennial with vibrant golden-yellow flowers and a dark center. Blooming from July to October, it attracts bees and butterflies, adding a lively summer touch to your garden. Perfect for borders, low-maintenance, and highly winter-hardy. Thrives best in a sunny spot!

Key Features

This 48-pack offers exceptional value for creating stunning mass plantings or filling large garden borders. Each plant arrives in a 9cm pot, standing 10-25cm tall and ready to establish quickly in your garden. The golden-yellow daisy-like flowers feature distinctive dark brown to black central cones that create striking visual contrast throughout the blooming season.

As a true perennial variety, 'Goldsturm' returns year after year, growing more vigorous with each season. The plants form compact, bushy mounds with dark green foliage that provides an attractive backdrop even when not in bloom. Disease and pest resistant, these hardy plants require minimal maintenance once established.

Garden Performance

Ideal for sunny locations, this variety performs best with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. The long blooming period from mid-summer through fall ensures continuous color when many other perennials have finished flowering. Drought-tolerant once established, making them suitable for low-water gardens.

The flowers attract pollinators including bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects throughout the growing season. Seed heads left standing through winter provide food for birds and add structural interest to the garden. Plants spread gradually to form dense groundcover that naturally suppresses weeds.

Planting & Care

Space plants 18-24 inches apart in well-drained soil. Adaptable to various soil types including clay, sand, and loam. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish deep roots. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering, or leave seed heads for winter interest and wildlife value.

Please note: Plants are living products and may therefore differ from the photo and description. Minor natural imperfections can occur. These often recover in your garden. These plants are vigorous and long-lasting. They are supplied in growing pots and are shipped directly from our partner growers.
