Its distinctive fuzzy, silver-tinged leaves create a fresh, soft atmosphere year-round. This plant is ideal for shaded areas, rock gardens, or as ground cover in borders. Luzula nivea grows in a compact, bushy form, forming a dense mat that provides low-maintenance, attractive ground coverage. Small, subtle flowers appear in spring, adding a touch of charm. The silver sheen of its leaves continues to beautify the garden, even in winter, making this plant visually interesting throughout the year.

Key Features of Luzula nivea

This bulk pack contains 60 Luzula nivea plants, each supplied in Ø9cm growing pots with a height of 10-25cm. The evergreen foliage maintains its silver-tinged appearance throughout all seasons, providing consistent visual interest. The compact, bushy growth habit makes these plants excellent for creating dense ground cover that requires minimal maintenance once established.

Ideal Growing Conditions

Luzula nivea thrives in shaded areas where many other plants struggle, making it a valuable addition to woodland gardens and shady borders. Its winter-hardy nature ensures survival through cold months, while the silver-tinged fuzzy leaves add texture and light to darker garden spaces. The plant's ability to form dense mats makes it particularly effective for suppressing weeds and stabilizing soil in rock gardens.

Planting and Maintenance

These low-maintenance plants establish quickly when planted in appropriate conditions. The compact growth form naturally creates attractive ground coverage without requiring frequent intervention. Spring flowers add seasonal interest, while the evergreen foliage provides year-round structure. This bulk quantity of 60 plants is ideal for covering larger areas or creating substantial borders.
