48x Irish Ivy (Hedera Hibernica) - Dark Green Climbing Plant 10-25cm

Hedera Hibernica – Irish Ivy Climbing Plant

Hedera hibernica, commonly known as Irish Ivy, is a versatile evergreen climbing plant that adapts to virtually any garden environment. This bulk pack of 48 plants provides excellent coverage for hedging projects, boundary screens, or extensive ground cover applications.

Plant Specifications

Each plant arrives at a height of 10-25cm in a 9cm diameter growing pot, ready for immediate planting. The dark green leaves feature distinctive silver-white veins that create visual interest throughout the year. As an evergreen species, Hedera hibernica maintains its foliage year-round, providing consistent coverage regardless of season.

Growing Conditions & Versatility

This Irish Ivy thrives in all soil types, making it suitable for challenging garden conditions where other plants might struggle. It performs equally well in full sun, partial shade, or complete shade, offering flexibility in placement throughout your landscape. Whether you need to cover a north-facing wall, create privacy screening, or establish ground cover under trees, Hedera hibernica adapts accordingly.

Uses in Your Garden

The 48-plant quantity is ideal for creating substantial hedges, covering large boundary areas, or establishing extensive ground cover. As a climbing plant, it naturally attaches to walls, fences, and structures without additional support systems. Alternatively, when planted as ground cover, it spreads horizontally to suppress weeds and create a dense green carpet.

Maintenance & Growth

Hedera hibernica is exceptionally low-maintenance once established. It can be pruned at any time of year to maintain desired shape and size, making it easy to control growth according to your space requirements. With proper conditions, this ivy has the potential to grow indefinitely, providing long-term coverage and value.
