Campsis Indian Summer' has beautiful orange Chinese trumpets and gives your garden an instant Mediterranean atmosphere. Campsis originates from America, but you will also find this climbing plant in Italy, Spain, Greece and Croatia. So there is a good chance you have come across it on holiday. Fortunately, the campsis is sufficiently winter Hardy, so you can easily bring the holiday feeling into your own garden. Place the plant in a sunny and somewhat sheltered spot. If there is a lot of sun, this Chinese trumpet will flower more abundantly and for longer. Campis flowers relatively late in the summer. This is a time when many plants have already finished flowering, making the campsis a fine addition to the garden.
