Plant Specifications

This bulk pack includes 24 robust Geranium plants, each supplied in 9cm growing pots. Plants arrive at a height of 10-25cm, ready for immediate planting. The compact root system in these containers ensures successful transplanting and rapid establishment in your garden.

Growing Characteristics

Geranium macrorrhizum 'Spessart' adapts to various light conditions, performing equally well in full sun, partial shade, or full shade locations. The dense growth habit creates effective weed suppression once established. Bright white blooms appear throughout the growing season, contrasting beautifully against the aromatic green foliage. In autumn, the leaves transform with attractive color tones, extending the plant's ornamental value beyond the flowering period.

Ideal Applications

The spreading nature of this ground cover makes it perfect for filling gaps in borders, stabilizing slopes, and creating cohesive plantings in rock gardens. The 24-plant pack provides sufficient coverage for approximately 2-3 square meters, depending on desired density. Plant spacing of 25-30cm allows the Geranium to form a continuous carpet within one growing season.

Low-Maintenance Garden Solution

This hardy perennial requires minimal intervention once established. The robust root system tolerates dry conditions, while the aromatic foliage naturally deters deer and rabbits. No deadheading is necessary, though removing spent flowers can encourage additional blooming. The plant's vigorous nature means it recovers quickly from any transplant stress or minor imperfections.

Natural Growing Standards

Please note: Plants are living products and may therefore differ from the photo and description. Minor natural imperfections can occur. These often recover in your garden. These plants are vigorous and long-lasting. They are supplied in growing pots and are shipped directly from our partner growers.
