Liriope muscari 'Monroe White' - Evergreen Groundcover Plants

Liriope muscari 'Monroe White' is an evergreen perennial that provides year-round interest with its grass-like, dark green foliage and striking white flower spikes that appear in late summer. This pack contains 24 plants, each 10-25cm in height and supplied in 9cm diameter growing pots, making it ideal for creating instant impact in borders, rock gardens, or as groundcover.

Plant Characteristics

The dark green, arching foliage forms dense clumps that remain attractive throughout all seasons. In late summer, elegant white flower spikes emerge above the foliage, creating a refined contrast that brightens shaded areas and complements sunny spots alike. This variety is particularly valued for its pure white blooms, which stand out against the deep green leaves.

Growing Conditions

Liriope muscari 'Monroe White' is remarkably versatile, thriving in both sunny and shady locations. This adaptability makes it suitable for various garden conditions, from woodland edges to open borders. The plant is fully hardy and requires minimal maintenance once established, making it an excellent choice for gardeners seeking reliable, long-lasting plants.

Garden Applications

This pack of 24 plants provides excellent coverage for:

• Border Edging: Create neat, defined edges along pathways and garden beds
• Groundcover: Fill larger areas with dense, weed-suppressing foliage
• Rock Gardens: Add texture and seasonal interest among stones and gravel
• Shaded Areas: Brighten difficult spots under trees or along north-facing walls
• Mass Planting: Create dramatic sweeps of white flowers in late summer
