Planting and Care
Plant your Rudbeckia fulgida 'Goldsturm' in a sunny position with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal flowering. Space plants 45-60cm apart to allow for mature spread. These robust perennials adapt to various well-drained soil conditions but perform best in fertile, moisture-retentive soil enriched with organic matter. Water regularly during establishment, then occasionally during dry spells. Once established, they tolerate drought conditions well.
Ideal for middle-of-border positions or planted in bold drifts alongside ornamental grasses and other late summer perennials. The compact habit reaches approximately 60cm tall, making it suitable for containers, cutting gardens, and wildlife-friendly gardens. Flowers make excellent cut flowers with long vase life.
