Cerastium tomentosum, commonly known as Snow-in-Summer, is a beautiful ground-covering perennial that bursts into a blanket of pure white flowers in spring. Its fine, silvery foliage provides year-round structure and a clean, elegant appearance. Thriving in sunny, dry locations, Cerastium tomentosum is ideal for rock gardens, edging, wall crevices and gravel areas. With its strong, fast-growing habit, it quickly forms a dense, flowering carpet that brightens and opens up any garden space.
