40x Cotoneaster 'Queen of Carpets' Evergreen Ground Cover - 10-25cm

Cotoneaster prostratus 'Queen of Carpets' - Dense Evergreen Ground Cover (40 Pack)

This robust evergreen ground cover grows flat and forms a dense mat that beautifully blankets any area. The Cotoneaster 'Queen of Carpets' features small, glossy dark green leaves with attractive grey undersides, creating year-round visual interest in your garden.

Seasonal Interest Throughout the Year

In May, the plant produces short white flowers that attract pollinators to your garden. By November, these blooms transform into attractive bright red berries that persist through winter, providing food for birds and adding vibrant color when most plants are dormant.

Versatile Growing Conditions

This hardy ground cover thrives in all soil types and adapts to both full sun and shaded positions. The prostrate, spreading growth habit makes it ideal for covering banks, slopes, borders, and difficult areas where traditional plants struggle. Height ranges from 10-25cm with a spread of up to 2.5 meters when mature.

Low-Maintenance Garden Solution

Cotoneaster 'Queen of Carpets' requires minimal care once established. Prune before the end of February to maintain shape and encourage healthy growth. The dense mat formation naturally suppresses weeds, reducing garden maintenance. Drought tolerant once the root system establishes.
