This cultivar is ideal for borders, naturalistic plantings and prairie-style gardens, where it adds height, movement and intense colour accents. Persicaria amplexicaulis ‘Blackfield’ thrives in sunny to partially shaded positions and prefers fertile, slightly moist soil. It is low-maintenance, fully hardy and very attractive to bees and other pollinators.
