Planting Information
This bulk pack contains 40 Pachysandra terminalis plants, each 10-25cm in height and supplied in 9cm recyclable growing pots. For optimal coverage, space plants 6-12 inches apart. They will establish within the first season and spread to form a continuous carpet within 1-2 years. Best planted in organically rich, well-drained soil with consistent moisture.
Ideal Growing Conditions
Pachysandra terminalis performs best in partial to full shade locations. It adapts to various soil types including clay and acidic soils, and is one of the few ground covers that grows successfully under pine trees. In spring, tiny white fragrant flower spikes appear above the foliage, adding seasonal interest. This ground cover is also effective for erosion control on slopes and hillsides.
