Glossy Foliage & Fragrant White Blooms
The Clematis armandii displays glossy, dark green, oval-shaped leaves that create dense coverage year-round. In spring, masses of fragrant, star-shaped flowers appear in clusters. These white or creamy-white blooms produce a sweet scent that fills the garden air during the flowering season.
Growing Requirements & Support Structures
This hardy garden plant grows best in full sun to partial shade conditions. Suitable for outdoor gardens where it can climb against walls, fences, pergolas, or trellises. Requires sturdy support structures to accommodate its vigorous climbing growth and mature size.
Watering Requirements for Healthy Growth
The Clematis armandii needs regular watering during dry periods for optimal growth and flowering. Maintain moist but well-draining soil, allowing the surface to dry slightly between waterings. Consistent moisture supports this flowering climber's vigorous growth habit.
