Polypodium vulgare is an evergreen, robust fern with glossy green, pinnate fronds that create a natural and soft effect. This species is ideal for shady borders, rock gardens, and under trees, where it adds structure and a fresh green accent throughout the seasons. Polypodium vulgare thrives best in sheltered, partially shaded to shaded locations in well-drained, humus-rich soil. The plant is low-maintenance, fully hardy, and fits perfectly in both classic and naturalistic garden designs.
Please note: Plants are living products and may vary from photos and descriptions. Minor imperfections may occur but usually recover once planted in your garden. Our plants are strong and supplied in nursery pots, directly from our partner growers.
