Organic Blueberry Plants 5-pack — Vaccinium 'Reka' SKAL Bio | Ø13cm

Reka is a well-known blueberry variety prized for its high yield of large, sweet, and firm fruits. These plants are delivered in 13cm pots with a current height of approximately 45cm. They are incredibly versatile, growing well in almost any soil type, and are very easy to maintain.

Why choose Vaccinium corymbosum Reka?

• Delicious Organic Fruit: Produces firm, light-blue berries with a sweet, rich flavor. Harvest your fresh blueberries from mid-July to mid-August.

• Ornamental Value: In May, the shrub is covered in clusters of white-cream to pink flowers. In autumn, the fresh green leaves transform into a stunning orange-red display before falling.

• Self-Pollinating: This variety is completely self-pollinating and requires very little care, making it perfect for both beginner and experienced gardeners.

• Storage: Fresh blueberries can be kept for up to a week in the fridge or easily frozen for later use in smoothies and baking.

Care Instructions:

• Light: Prefers a sunny to partially shaded spot. More sun usually results in sweeter fruit.

• Watering: Keep the soil moist, especially during the flowering and fruiting seasons. Blueberries prefer consistent moisture.

• Soil: While 'Reka' is adaptable to various soil types, blueberries generally prefer slightly acidic, well-drained soil.

• Maintenance: Almost maintenance-free. Pruning is only necessary to remove dead wood or to maintain the desired shape.
