This cultivar is ideal for moist borders, naturalistic gardens and pond edges, where it adds height, structure and intense colour accents. Persicaria bistorta ‘Superba’ thrives best in sunny to partially shaded positions in well-moist, fertile soil. It is low-maintenance, fully hardy and attracts bees and butterflies.
