Aster ageratoides 'Asran' is a clump-forming perennial that produces clusters of lavender-blue daisy-like flowers with yellow centers from August through late autumn. This hardy perennial reaches a height of 50 to 70 cm and thrives in full sun positions.

Growing Conditions
Plant in well-drained, moderately fertile soil in full sun or light shade. This spreading perennial is strong growing, rigid and upright with dark-green foliage on compact, bushy plants. More tolerant of dry, lightly shaded spots than many other asters.
Care Instructions
Prune back to ground level in March for abundant blooms year after year. Hardy perennial that dies back in autumn and re-emerges in spring. Cut back old foliage before new leaves start to grow in spring. Dislike being disturbed once established.
