Cotoneaster dammeri is a robust, hardy ground cover that quickly blankets the soil with its dense growth. This vigorous evergreen shrub forms a ground-hugging carpet of small, glossy dark green leaves that take on attractive bronze tones in winter. Growing 10-25cm in height, it spreads horizontally to create effective weed suppression while stabilizing soil on slopes and banks.
Flowers and Berries for Year-Round Interest
In spring, the plants produce charming white flowers with pink-tinged petals that are highly attractive to bees and pollinators. This bulk pack contains 40 plants in 9cm pots, ideal for covering large areas efficiently. Plant 4-6 plants per square meter for good coverage, or increase to 9-12 plants per square meter for dense, rapid coverage that suppresses weeds effectively. Each plant will spread 1.8-2.5m wide once established, making this pack suitable for approximately 7-10 square meters of ground coverage.
