Key Features
This cultivar produces striking purple-blue cup-shaped flowers with five petals that bloom throughout late summer and fall, providing color when many other perennials have finished flowering. The flowers are held on sturdy, wiry stems above attractive dark green, grape-like foliage that remains decorative throughout the growing season.
'Robustissima' is recognized as the hardiest and most vigorous of all fall-blooming anemones. It thrives in partial shade conditions and adapts well to various garden settings, from cottage gardens to woodland edges. The plants reach 10-25cm at delivery and will mature to 90-120cm tall, creating an impressive display.
