This semi-evergreen perennial forms a thick, weed-resistant carpet through spreading rhizomes. The attractive, fragrant leaves release a pleasant aromatic scent when brushed, and bright flowers appear in spring, typically in shades of pink to magenta. Growing 10-25cm tall and supplied in 9cm recyclable pots, these plants quickly establish to create effective coverage.
Growing Conditions
Geranium macrorrhizum thrives in full sun to full shade, making it exceptionally versatile for difficult garden spots. It tolerates dry shade conditions where most plants struggle, and once established, requires minimal watering.
