This pack of 8 young plants in 9cm pots, about 20–25cm tall, suits low hedges, edging, borders and topiary. Plant roughly 5–7 per metre for a low hedge, so this pack covers about 1–1.5 metres.

Specifications

Quantity: 8 plants

Height: approx. 20–25cm

Pot size: 9cm

Species: Buxus sempervirens (common box)

Type: evergreen shrub, slow growing

Suitable for: low hedges, edging, borders, topiary, containers

Light: sun to partial shade

Growing and care

Plant in well-drained soil; box dislikes waterlogging. That is not a reason to avoid it, but inspect plants regularly from spring to autumn and act early if you see webbing, caterpillars or browning.
